The large-format print most strongly conveys the feeling of sacred rebirth bodies, both past and present, are printed in gold on the surface, merging into a single image reminiscent of the Shroud of Turin.
My double body print, made before and after a double mastectomy, becomes a symbolic act of renewal – the embodiment of a body she had long dreamed of.
